ONE of the last remaining tenants of Nuneaton’s New Century Way complex has announced its relocation, amidst Hilton Hotel plans which are set to go ahead in the coming months.

A maths and English tutoring group, named Kumon, have quietly relocated into Coton Road, near the town centre after they were tasked with finding a new site, as bulldozers are set to take to the row of shops which they were housed in to make way for the new ‘Hampton’ by Hilton Hotel.
The Hinckley Free Press and passers-by have recently noticed the sign which was posted on their front door, revealing that they relocated to Anker House in Nuneaton.
It reads: “Kumon has moved to the following location: Anker House, Coton Road, CV11 5TQ (Opposite Nuneaton Town Hall) Phone: 07783309650”.

The first occupants to leave the complex left last year – these were Kimberley’s Occasions, who occupy the former Molly’s Coffee House, and Mobility and Lifestyle, who took on the ex-Blockbuster, where they have opened their bigger ‘mega’ store.
Heatwave Tanning Salon, who operated from the complex for 20 years, were made to permanently close on New Year’s Eve – but they were unable to find a new premises.
As the Free Press reported back on 3 January, the last remaining tenant – Sally’s Salon Services are set to close their doors for good on 20 January, in six days’ time, but they have secured a new site at Nuneaton’s Bermuda Trade Park, on Hamilton Way.
