A NUNEATON man has been charged by police after stealing approximately 150 litres of fuel from lorries in the nearby town of Atherstone in May last year.

Simon Milburn, aged 34, from Nuneaton, has been charged by Warwickshire Police, who were investigating the theft of fuel from some lorries which were parked up on Carlyon Road, based on an industrial park in Atherstone.
An investigation into the incident was launched after officers had received a report that approximately 150 litres of fuel was stolen from the lorries in the early hours of the morning on Friday, 7 May, 2021.
Milburn, of Dorlecote Court, Nuneaton, is set to appear at Coventry Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 25 January, in two weeks and four days’ time.
