Nuneaton man who was arrested following suspected arson attack at Camp Hill property released on bail

A 42-YEAR-OLD Nuneaton man who was arrested following a suspected arson attack which took place two days ago in Camp Hill has been released on bail.

He was initially arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire at an unoccupied house on Queen Elizabeth Road in Camp Hill, Nuneaton.

Local police officers were alerted to the scene of the incident by firefighters on Tuesday (4 January) at 8.35am.

But, a Warwickshire Police spokesperson has today (Thursday, 6 January) told the Nuneaton News that he was taken into custody for questioning in regards to the incident – and he has since been released on bail.

Nuneaton and Bedworth Police officers are still appealing for information from anyone who have any, to help police with their ongoing enquiries.
