Temporary traffic lights and parking restrictions in place for four days on Nutts Lane due to sewer repair works

TEMPORARY traffic lights and parking restrictions are now in place on Nutts Lane.

The temporary lights and parking restrictions were installed on the road this morning (Tuesday, 4 January), where they will remain for four days, until Saturday, 8 January.

They have been put in place on Nutts Road, from Coventry Road, to allow Coventry-based water supplier, Severn Trent Water to carry out sewer repair works in the area.

“The works are expected to be completed on January 8th by 5pm”, stated a Severn Trent spokesperson, when the Free Press asked them when they will be finished.

Leicestershire County Council’s Highways Teams gave the ‘thumbs up’ for the works to go ahead, back in October, meaning that they have been scheduled for a while.

No proposed alternate diversion routes have been put in place.
