HINCKLEY’S Business Improvement District (Hinckley BID) have named a town centre gift shop the winners of their ‘Best Dressed Christmas Shop Window’ competition.
Three days ago (Wednesday, 22 December), the BID revealed on social media sharing site, Facebook, that Swagbox the Gift Shop, based on New Buildings, had won this years’ best-dressed Christmas shop window competition.
They further issued a “huge” well done to all of the other participants who got involved decorating their windows.
The other participants, are listed below, and will all receive a ‘Highly Commended’ certificate for their efforts.

- Johnsons and The Lingerie Company
- Ferriss Bridal
- Blooming Lovely
- Curiosity Boutique
- Castle Treats
- The Sewing Cafe
The Swagbox were handed a trophy for the Christmas accomplishment, and issued a statement exclaiming that they and the toy mice, in the shop, were “chuffed to bits” that they were the winners.
They said: “Yippee! The Swagbox Christmas mice are chuffed to bits for winning the trophy for Hinckley’s Best Dressed Christmas Window this year… Thank you so much!”
