YOUNGSTERS in Hinckley will have the opportunity to visit Santa Claus starting tomorrow morning, as he arrives in his grotto inside of a Hinckley shopping mall.

His team of hard-working elves have quietly opened the doors to his newly-decorated ‘amazing’ and ‘magical’ Grotto – housed inside of the former Argos in Britannia Centre.

He and his reindeers have been welcomed into the town for yet another year, by his close friends at Hinckley Bid – Hinckley’s Business Improvement District.

Santa and his elves will be in his Grotto for a total of four days, from 10am to 4pm each day – starting tomorrow (18 December) to 22 December.

But, he has kindly stated that he will need to take a break each day, between 12.30pm to 1pm, so that he can go outside and feed his reindeers.

He will listen to children’s Christmas wishes, their list of what they want on the big day, and hand out presents to all who have paid a visit.

A queuing system has been put in place, so no prior booking is needed.

Entry costs £2 per child, but accompanying adults, and children aged under three, get to go inside free.
