NUNEATON and District Society of Artists are returning to the Riversley Park-based Nuneaton Museum and Art Gallery with an ‘exciting’ selection of new artworks.

The new artworks from the Society will be displayed in the Museum’s Yellow Gallery, starting in four days’ time (18 December), to 29 January 2022.
The colourful exhibition will feature watercolours, oils, and acrylics from local artists.
The local artists hold weekly meetings every Wednesday at Bulkington’s Village Community and Conference Centre to discuss their practice.
They cater for all abilities of artists – from beginners, developers to experienced competent artists – and new members are being welcomed to join them.
They follow both weekly and monthly themes and topics in a wide variety of art mediums and techniques, such as watercolours, acrylics, pencils and collages – and even demonstrations from their fellow members and professional artists.
All of the works which will be displayed inside of the Museum as a part of the exhibition are available to purchase by cash, or cheque, starting from £30.
Coun. Sue Markham, Portfolio Holder for Public Services at the Borough Council, said: “What a wonderful collection of artworks on display. There is so much to see, and all made by local artists. This show is not to be missed!”
The Museum is open from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
But, on Thursdays, only the downstairs area and tearoom are open.
Admission is free into the exhibition, but donations are welcomed from visitors.
