HINCKLEY POLICE officers have discovered a cannabis grow inside of a property in Earl Shilton, after a concerned member of the public told them that they had noticed water ‘coming through the walls and front door’ of a house in the village.
Officers made the news about the grow known on social media sharing site, Facebook, today (18 November), where they posted the update as well as photos of the plants inside the property.
Two more photographs shown the seized plants placed inside of paper bags in a police vehicle, with confiscated growing equipment in the back.
The local force then gained entry to the property and said that they had found the drugs after they had caught the ‘rather distinctive’ scent.
The grow had been described as “rather large”.
No information about arrests were made at the time of publication (18 November).
Officers have reminded people that if they can constantly smell cannabis in and around their local area, they can call the non-emergency police number of 101.
