Officers have reminded those unauthorised visitors trying to visit the bus station that there is clearly a sign for ‘no entry, except buses, coaches and taxis’ and those attempting to break the rules will be slapped with a £100 fine and handed three penalty points on their licence.

The post, shared on Facebook by Nuneaton and Bedworth cops, at 4.15pm yesterday (20 October), reads: “There has been a reported rise in the amount of unauthorised vehicles entering Nuneaton Bus Station increasing the risk to pedestrians.

“Please be aware the penalty for contravening a ‘No Entry’ sign is a £100 fine and an endorsement of three penalty points on your licence.”
