The Fragrance Shop, who have over 200 stores across the United Kingdom, have quietly added a listing for ‘Nuneaton’ to their official website’s “Store Finder”, but with no details known about the whereabouts of the location.

However, the location has been confirmed by bosses of the Ropewalk Shopping Centre on the popular indoor mall’s website, which clearly shows “The Fragrance Shop” listed alongside other currently trading mall occupants – and it has been given its own designated page, as seen below.

Interestingly, the exact unit number remains unknown to the general public at the time of publication (19 October).

Jobs for the new Nuneaton store have been noticed on employment website Indeed.

The national perfume chain started quietly listing in-store jobs a fortnight ago on 19 September.

More roles have recently been added as soon as last Friday (15 October).

The jobs that are currently up for grabs include Store Manager, Assistant Manager and Sales Consultant.

At this moment in time, the nearest Fragrance Shop which is open and trading can be found inside of Hinckley’s Britannia Shopping Centre, based in Castle Street, Hinckley town centre.

It is not yet known where the retailer will be located, however, at the time of publication (Tuesday October 19), the unit which was once home to Ernest Jones jewellers is currently being refurbished.

Refurbishment works are ongoing and were noticed exclusively by the Free Press over the past few days.

One side of the unit is currently being blocked off and boarded up, whilst the other side is being used as an entrance and exit by contractors, which could be a main public trading space.

It is unknown if the works starting recently are merely a coincidence with the timing of the jobs being added for The Fragrance Shop.

This isn’t the newest venture to be welcomed by other retailers in the Ropewalk, though, as Nagoyo Noodles started trading last week where they served up rice and noodle boxes for the first time to hungry customers.

The indoor mall will also welcome Nuneaton’s new Job Centre location next month, in November, which is currently undergoing refurbishment works in the ex-H&M space.
