A VACCINATION session will take place tomorrow morning (9 September) inside of Hinckley Leisure Centre, located in the Argents Mead Park.
Vaccinations for the Pfizer vaccine will be handed out on a ‘walk-in’ basis for a total of two hours, starting from 10am until 12pm, meaning that no prior bookings need to be made in advance.
Anybody aged 16-years-old and over are eligible to receive their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
Those who have been vaccinated with their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at least eight weeks ago are able to receive their second dose of the vaccine.
The session has been been arranged by Public Health England (PHE), and is being promoted online by the Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), as a part of their ‘#GetVaxxedLLR’ campaign.
The vaccination team working inside of the town Leisure Centre have already impressively vaccinated over 68,000 residents and visitors, since it opened up as a town vaccination hub back in January at the start of the year.
