BOSWORTH Water Park bosses Nigel and Joanne Ryley have revealed their plans ‘to take a change in direction’ and transform the site into a private holiday lodge complex.

An announcement was made on the Water Trust’s official Facebook page today (1 September) which states the popular destination will be permanently closed off next month (4 October), so that the renovation works can go ahead.
It will then remain fully closed to guests for five months, from October 2021 to April 2022.
On 1 April 2022, the Water Trust’s award-winning campsite will re-open, but only to visitors with caravans and motorhomes.
Water Trust owners Nigel and Joanne Ryley have issued a statement thanking staff for putting their ‘heart and soul’ into creating a ‘fantastic’ environment at the popular destination.
An appeal has been launched to guests, as they have been asked to share their memories of visiting the family destination and tag the Water Park in the posts.
They said: “After 30 years of serving our loyal customers at our family attraction we have chosen to take a new direction and develop the site into a private holiday lodge complex.
“We will close permanently on October 4th to all day visitors, we will then remain closed to all guests until 1st April 2022.
“It has taken 30 years, two generations of family, dedicated staff – both long-standing and seasonal – all putting their heart and soul into creating the fantastic environment we all love, and in closing, we can’t let the occasion pass by without asking you to share your memories with us.
“If you have any memories you wish to share, please ensure we are tagged in the posts.
“We will be sharing many of our favourite memories with you all over our final month, we hope you enjoy them.”
