A LOCAL Rail User Group are set to hold a virtual public meeting in three weeks’ time where commuters from Nuneaton, Bedworth and Hinckley can voice their railway concerns.

The meeting will be virtually held on 22 September at 7pm in the evening across two popular video-conferencing platforms – Zoom and Google Meet.

But, it has a limited number of just 100 online spaces, so virtual attendees are being encouraged to get in touch weeks in advance to say if they wish to attend.

In a statement posted on social media, Stu Anderson, Joint Leader of the Rail Users Group, said: “Our public meet is for you and us to listen to your railway concerns, worries and what you wish to improve, you can have your say”.

One local Member of Parliament, who was not named by the group at the time of publication, has accepted an invitation to attend the session, however, this is ‘subject to their Parliamentary duties’ and if they can make it on the day.

Anyone wanting to apply for free to raise their rail concerns can do so, by Tweeting @NBandHRUG, emailing nbandhrug@gmail.com, or send a Facebook message here.
