The session will be held for a total of two hours, running from 10am until 12pm.

It has been arranged by Public Health England (PHE) and is being promoted by Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) as a part of their ‘#GetVaxxedLLR’ campaign, which inform residents of local vaccination sessions.

The Pfizer vaccine will be handed out to currently unvaccinated people who are wanting to receive their first jab, as well as those who were vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine at least eight weeks ago.

The AstraZeneca vaccine will be further be dished out, but only to those who got vaccinated with their first dose of it at least eight weeks ago.

Over 50,000 people have been vaccinated inside of the Leisure Centre since January at the start of the year when it became a vaccination hub.
