TWO WALK-IN Covid-19 vaccination sessions will be held inside of the Hinckley Leisure Centre in Argents Mead park tomorrow (7 August), at the same time that popular food festival Feast Hinckley will be held inside of the park.

Both sessions have been arranged by Public Health England (PHE) and they are for doses of the Pfizer vaccine.
The first session will be held on Saturday morning at 10am until 12pm and the second will be held in the afternoon the same day from 2.30pm until 4pm.
Anybody aged 18 and over who is currently unvaccinated can show up and get given their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, with no prior appointment, and then visit the new food stalls and live entertainment on offer at the food festival.
Park-goers who were vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine at least eight weeks ago can receive their second Pfizer vaccine in the Leisure Centre on the day.
Feast Hinckley is free-to-enter – it will take place from Saturday (7 August) and Sunday (8 August), starting at 10am and finishing at 5pm on both days.
Throughout the two-day Feast Hinckley food festival in the Mead, which runs over the weekend, there will be a wide array of food and drink vendors to try, four live bands who will ‘wow’ crowds, a face-painter, and a stilt-walker.
Younger visitors will be able to play on the inflatable assault course at just 50 pence a turn, as well as partake in free hooping sessions, both of which are sponsored by Hinckley’s Business Improvement District (Hinckley BID).
