TWO PEOPLE have been placed in custody following a report of a robbery in Whittleford Road, Nuneaton, this afternoon (28 July).

They were placed in custody by officers after a group of people had threatened a male in a robbery.

The incident was reported to Warwickshire Police at approximately 2.59pm this afternoon.

Five police vehicles were on pursuit at the scene with their red and blue lights flashing.

Now, Warwickshire Police officers are now appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to let them know.

A Warwickshire Police spokesperson, said: “Any witnesses or anyone with information can call 101 quoting incident 220 of 28 July 2021.

“Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
