A POPULAR play area attraction with young Bosworth Water Park visitors has closed and will be removed from the site after being hit by vandals.

The Castle, based in the play area of the Market Bosworth-based water park, will be removed tomorrow following a spot of vandalism caused by a group of older teenagers which was caused yesterday afternoon (23 July).
The teens, who were responsible for breaking the wooden play area feature, have vandalised it so badly that the attraction is now ‘damaged beyond repair’.
The maximum age to use the Castle was eight years of age.
The entire play area will be out of bounds until Monday (26 July) whilst the Castle is being removed over the course of the weekend.
Luckily for those with children, once the play area re-opens, youngsters will still be able to play on the Pirate Galleon feature which will remain on-site.
A spokesperson for the Park on Facebook published a post on Facebook today confirming that the Castle will be taken down tomorrow on Sunday (25 July).
They said: “We have carried out a full inspection of the castle this morning and we can confirm that the castle will be taken down tomorrow.”
