THE MISTERONS were the first act to perform for Music in the Mead which returned on Saturday afternoon (3 July).
The mod, pop, and ska band from Nuneaton wowed socially-distanced crowds in the Argents Mead park.
Covid-19 marshals were in attendance to ensure that social distancing and the current Covid guidelines in place were being adhered to at the event.
To the relief of those in attendance, it did not rain, despite sporadic showers over the weekend.
As a part of the event, a new act will perform every Saturday throughout the summer, up until 18 September, which marks the final performance.
Music in the Mead events are free, do not require any prior booking, and are held from 1pm until 3pm.
The list of upcoming performers has been confirmed below:
- Sam Southall (24 July)
- Dean Thomas (31 July)
- Steven Faulkner (14 August)
- Out of Gas (21 August)
