A POPULAR restaurant in The Crescent have officially re-opened their doors following a temporary closure.

Loungers-owned restaurant Tarro Lounge has re-opened following a Covid deep clean, after staff members tested positive for Covid-19 last week (27 June).
Whilst there were enough staff members on hand to work whilst those with positive cases were self-isolating, the branch decided to close as a safety precaution, letting customers know on social media on 28 June.
The branch believed ‘the best’ course of action was to immediately isolate the rest of the Tarro team, close the Lounge for a ‘thorough’ deep-clean, and get all staff members tested.
Affected diners who had been in contact with the staff who tested positive were either notified through the contact numbers left on the Test and Trace forms, or through the NHS Covid-19 App.
Just two days’ later on 30 June, a new post was uploaded explaining that they were getting ready to re-open.
Tarro Lounge later re-opened again this week in a ‘Covid-safe’ manner.
The team who are working through the re-opening are Tarro’s unaffected team of regular staff members, as well as a few staff members from ‘outside’ Lounges.
A spokesperson for Tarro Lounge said: “We have been able to re-open with team members who did not have to self-isolate, along with support from other Lounges.
“We understand the concerns of any guests who visited last weekend and would like to reassure them that the health and wellbeing of our team and guests has been our number one consideration.”
