Bosworth MP ‘warmly welcomes’ joint venture between MIRA and Evans Randall

BOSWORTH’S Member of Parliament, Dr. Luke Evans, has ‘warmly welcomed’ the joint venture between HORIBA MIRA and Evans Randall Investors.

The newly-announced partnership sees Evans Randall, who are a private equity investor and developer, become the exclusive developer of the MIRA Technology Park.

HORIBA MIRA, located next to the A5 in Nuneaton, have 75 years’ experience in developing some of the most iconic vehicles in the world.

As the global mobility sector undergoes a ‘radical transformation’, the new major investment partner will help solidify MIRA as ‘Europe’s leading automotive research and development (R&D) cluster’.

Up to £500 million of Gross Development Value will be encompassed in focusing on R&D, office and industrial facilities, and helping MIRA stay at the forefront of the automotive industry’s transition to a sustainable future.

Dr. Luke Evans said: “This news provides another fantastic opportunity for our local area to grow, create new high skilled jobs and aligns us with the Government’s agenda for a Global Britain, while also levelling up the local area.

“Since becoming an MP, I have been working closely with MIRA, I look forward to seeing the plans come to fruition and the direct benefits this will have for local people.”
