CINEWORLD are set to re-open the doors to their venue in The Crescent next week.
The chain, who are the second biggest cinema chain in the world, confirmed to the Free Press that the Hinckley location will re-open on 19 May, alongside the rest of their venues across England and Scotland.
Local film fanatics have been without their fix of blockbuster hits on the big screen for seven months, as Cineworld temporarily closed all venues on 8 October last year.
Tickets are available to pre-book now, so attendees can be ensured they will not be turned away from the counter for fully-booked screenings.
The earliest screening on the re-opening day starts at 3pm, whilst the latest showing starts at 8.40pm.
Covid-19 safety measures
Customers are being encouraged to show e-tickets at the counter.
Face coverings must be worn through the movie, except when eating and drinking.
Social distancing measures will be in place and hand sanitising stations have been installed across the venue.

Cineworld have exclaimed that they are delighted to be re-opening their cinemas and that ‘the interval is over. The main act is back’.
