FEAST HINCKLEY’S event organisers have revealed that new vendors are set to join a number of well-known returning vendors at this year’s event.

Whilst a number of old vendors are set to make their return, the foodie favourite event will boast a bunch of brand new ones for the first time.

The announcement was made in a post on Facebook from the Feast Hinckley page.

It reads: “We have a number of returning favourites at Feast Hinckley 2021 on August 7/8 along with some brand new vendors!”

The event will be held over the course of two days, from Saturday 7 August to Sunday 8 August.

It will take place in the Green Flag award-winning Argents Mead park in a socially-distanced manner where vendors will be ‘spread out’ so that they are adhering to the Covid guidelines.

It was never hosted last year as it was scrapped due to the impact of the pandemic.

Some vendors in attendance will be serving up wood fired pizzas, sweet and savoury crepes, fried chicken, meats, and a wood smoked barbecue.

Cuisine from all different cultures and countries will be on offer, including South African, Thai, Caribbean, Greek, Italian, and Mexican, just to name a few.

Visitors seeking out to have a tipple or two will be able to purchase Prosecco and Gin and Tonics from the on-site prosecco stand.

A unique stall is being hosted for those bringing their furry friends which specialises in homemade dog biscuits.

Children will be able to enjoy a colossal inflatable assault course, which stands at the total height of 120ft, at just 50p per go.

The assault course is being sponsored by Hinckley BID, the town’s business improvement district.

Whilst it seems to have the ‘all clear’ for now, the event organisers will be keeping an eye on Government guidance.

Two weeks later, in the nearby town of Nuneaton, just a 12-minute drive away, the Nuneaton Food Festival will take place on Sunday 22 August.
