A THIRD man has been charged by Leicestershire Police in connection with a brawl that took place in a Market Place beer garden a week ago.
He was charged by officers today (29 April), following a public appeal over the fight, which was made public last night.
The public appeal was launched by officers yesterday (28 April), in hopes that they could help identify two men in connection with the incident of public disorder.
On 12 April at approximately 6.45pm, Leicestershire Police officers received a report that a fight had broken out between a group of men in a Market Place-based beer garden in Hinckley town centre.
The pub in question currently remains unnamed publicly.
30-year-old Hinckley resident, Jack Johnson, of Eskdale Road, has been charged with assault and a section 4 public order offence.
One man was identified through the public appeal, but he was eliminated out of the investigation.
Two men have already been charged in connection with this incident.
30-year-old Hinckley resident, Jamie Buckley, of Brookfield Road, was charged with possession of an offensive weapon, assault, and a section 4 public order offence.
28-year-old Stoney Stanton resident, Tom Whittle, was charged with assault and a section 4 public order offence.
Officers would like to thank the members of the public who have helped in identifying the men involved with the incident.
