THE CONCORDIA Theatre, based on Stockwell Head, are set to hold a new ‘magical treasure hunt’ in May for theatre-goers, in their first step of reintroducing them to a taste of Covid-secure theatre life.

The new experience has been named ‘The Big Panto Adventure’, and is set to take place on Saturdays and Sundays from 22 May to 6 June inclusive, when characters will be appearing all over the complex.

It was first scheduled for late 2020 but, due to Covid restrictions, volunteers agreed to reshuffle the event to a date when it would be able to be held safely, in line with the Government guidelines.

“The Big Panto Adventure” will be a socially-distanced event adhering to the physical distancing guidelines in place, with live popular pantomime characters popping up all over the auditorium, wing space and stage.

It has been compared to a theme park attraction, but on foot.
Through timed intervals, those in bubbles of up to six visitors will be able to gather clues to solve questions at 10 Panto-themed zones.
