NEW PLANS have been unveiled for Hinckley’s former GAME branch based in Castle Street who have called it ‘game over’ after closing and selling their final copies.

GAME, who proved a success with young gamers and teenagers alike, based on Castle Street, have permanently closed the doors to their Hinckley store, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Whilst the retailer were closed as they were non-essential, their unit was “to let” for potential occupants to acquire the site.

A new occupant has been secured who have unveiled their plans for the site.

Revealed: The new plans

Whilst the unit is now sitting stripped out of its past lease of life as a video game retailer, it has already been snapped up by a new occupant.

The new occupant who has taken on the space has been quick to announce the news publicly.

It will change use from a retail store to a brand new revamped and refreshed gym for Hinckley gym-goers and fitness fanatics to work out in inside of.

Just a day ago (6 April), an independent gym group named Just One More, who are Hinckley-based, have launched a Facebook page for their new location announcing that they have taken over the space.

The unit will be transformed into its new lease of life over the next few weeks.

Photographs have already been shared on social media of the inside being tidied up.
