A FORMER post office space, based in the Horeston Grange Shopping Centre, is set to become home to Hair, Beauty and Aesthetics, a new hair and beauty salon.

Hair, Beauty and Aesthetics will be housed in the space that was once home to a Post Office and newsagents, located in between frozen food giant Farmfoods and popular British bookies, Betfred.

It has been created by three pre-existing and well-established local hair and beauty ventures – The Boutique (Abbey Green), Exclusively Yours (Queens Road), and The Aesthetics Lounge (Weddington Road).

Workers have been spotted inside of the space re-vamping it from its last least of life, where they have been getting it prepared for their opening, when they can open once works are complete, through eased lockdown restrictions.

At the start of the month (5 March), the news of the salon coming to Horeston Grange was shared in a surprise public announcement on social media site Facebook.

The post read: “Our new adventure begins. We look forward to welcoming you to our new salon located on Horeston Grange. Exciting times”, which they accompanied with a photograph of the new space.

A storefront banner has gone up above the unit which simply reads: “Coming soon: Hair, Beauty and Aesthetics”.

When The Hinckley Free Press approached the salon for comment, a spokesperson explained that they ‘can’t wait to welcome all’ in their new shop.

They said: “We are really looking forward to our future in our new shop and [we] can’t wait to welcome all of the local community.”

All of the businesses working together at the new salon are currently looking for experienced barbers and hairdressers, with applications being kept confidential.
