ELMESTHORPE BREWERY have recently announced that they have acquired two new pubs, adding to their list of pubs across England.

Four days ago (20 March), the Elmesthorpe-based brewery, owned by Nirad Solanki and Payal Solanki, had revealed on Twitter that they had snapped up two new pubs in Stoke-on-Trent and Melton Mowbray.
Their newly-acquired pub in Stoke-on-Trent is located in Stoke city centre in Staffordshire, and is named ‘The Crafty Lion’, where they will breathe new life into the space.
The Crafty Lion is located on Church Street ‘in the heart’ of Stoke city centre, and is housed in what was previously the locally well-known Famous Lion and Georgia Browns.
Planning permission has further been lodged for The Crafty Lion, which would see 22 apartments to the top and rear of the building.
Nirad and Payal’s new Melton Mowbray pub adds to their list of Leicestershire sites, with pubs already trading in Hinckley, Stoney Stanton, and Leicester city centre.
Melton residents have been told to ‘keep their eyes peeled’ over the coming weeks for more information about their new site.
The name and specific location for their new pub is currently unknown at the time of publication, but it is known that it is located in an ‘extremely characterful’ Grade II* listed building.
They will be able to get their hands on stone-baked pizzas and try Elmesthorpe Brewery’s own craft beers, as well as mainstream popular pints.
The local brewery have stated that they aim to grow a business this year by acquiring more sites and growing as a business.
Nirad Solanki, Chairman of the Board for Elmesthorpe Brewery, said: “The plan is to acquire more sites this year and in the future, in hopes to grow to become a renowned business.”
