A FAMILY-RUN store, named 365 Bargains, have set up shop in their newly-purchased and re-located premises in Nuneaton today (6 February).

The retailer’s new site in the former Ugo store (HFP)

The retailer, who previously occupied the former Blockbuster Video unit opposite Dunelm near Nuneaton railway station, opened the doors to their new store this morning.

The discount retailer first made its name known to Nuneaton shoppers back in April 2016 when they snapped up the ex-Blockbuster Video store, which they quietly shut late last month (January 2021) in preparation to open in their new space.

Since vacating the Blockbuster premises, they have remained in Station Retail Park, only moving two units over on the site, as they have quietly re-located to a more spacious and prominent former Ugo unit adjacent to Poundstretcher.

Shoppers now have the ability to visit the newly-renovated and re-vamped store.

A spokesperson for 365 Bargains took to social media early this morning at 9.15am to comment on the opening.

They said: “Good morning everyone, we are really pleased to tell you that our new store opens this morning.

“We have a massive selection of stock and we look forward to seeing you all.”

365 Bargains are a ‘white goods’ retailer, who stock household appliances including kettles, washing machines, bric-a-brac, and even a limited line of confectionery – the company is owned by British businessman Simon Smith, who also owns SCS Aquatic and Pet Wholesale Limited.
