DOMINO’S Hinckley branch on Rugby Road in the town centre has been temporarily closed over the past few days, leaving pizza lovers in town without their Domino’s fix, but the American pizza giant is set to re-open their doors tomorrow, to the relief of residents.
The Hinckley branch was temporarily marked as ‘closed at present’ on the pizza chain’s official website ‘Store Locator’ days ago whilst all of their branches in the nearby neighbouring town of Nuneaton remained open.
The notice on the website did reassure residents that they would re-open their doors again, however, the exact date was unknown.
The statement simply read: “We’re sorry, but this store is closed at present. We will open again soon.”
This evening (13 January), Domino’s confirmed to The Hinckley Free Press that this will be the last day that residents will be without pizza, as their doors will re-open again tomorrow morning (14 January).
The restaurant on Rugby Road was temporarily closed for the past few days as refurbishment works were taking place inside of the unit.
Rachel Townsend, a spokesperson for Domino’s, said: “The store is closed for refurbishment work and reopens tomorrow (14 January). “To maintain a service to our customers their orders have been covered by colleagues from Earl Shilton.”
