BRIO MEDIA, a Hinckley-based creative design duo, have announced that they are working on a secret up and coming project titled ‘Project X’.

A Tweet was posted to Brio Media’s official Twitter account 13 days ago back on 3 November about the in-house project, which was posted alongside two festive emojis of a Christmas Tree and Father Christmas.

The Brio boys further played on words in the tweet subtly-hinting at what the project may be, where they had said: “this one is a cracker!”.

The Tweet reads: “It’s been a tough year right, but Christmas is very nearly here! 🎅🏼🎄 Each year we have an in-house project that we like to call ’Project X’ and oh boy, this one is a cracker!

“We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on…”

Speaking to The Hinckley Free Press, Co-Founder of Brio Media, Alex Russell, said: “We’ve been working on Project X since June.

“It’s a labour of love for us as it’s the time of the year we get to showcase our best creativity.”

Elliott Wynd-Jennings, Co-Founder of Brio Media, said: “This year’s Project X is a fun one and we hope that it puts a smile on our client’s faces after the tough year we’ve all had!”

Whilst the team at Brio are keeping tight-lipped about what ‘Project X’ entails, they have explained that further details ‘will be revealed in due course’ and more hints as to what the surprise project will be ‘shall follow in the weeks to come’.

However, we can piece together that if the project is related to the festive season like it is being heavily hinted at, it could be a new Brio-branded Christmas card.

For the festive season at Christmas time over the past few years, a Christmas card has been sent to Brio’s supporting clients and friends as a ‘thank you’ for supporting the brand over the past year.

Each card that has been sent in previous years has had an individual secret element every year round. The 2019 card featured a commemorative coin to celebrate the five years of Brio in business.

The year before that, the card decoration was a robot Christmas Tree decoration. Brio’s iconic brand mascot, The Brio Bot, has featured on four of the five cards to celebrate the brand over the years.

Brio Media is located on Druid Street in Hinckley, just behind the Hinckley College Campus. The creative design firm was founded by two Hinckley College alumni members, Alex Russell and Elliott Wynd-Jennings.

The business was recognised by BBC Dragon’s Den legend and retail tycoon, Theo Paphitis, as a part of his Twitter ‘SBS’ (Small Business Sunday) campaign, after they responded to his Tweet which helps small businesses gain exposure and get noticed by him.
