THE CONCORDIA THEATRE, based on Stockwell Head, have announced a new Theatre experience set for this December, where residents will be able to see the stars of ‘Pantoland’ in a COVID-safe socially-distanced event.

The newly-announced event is named ‘The Big Panto Adventure’. It is an ‘interactive walk’ and will be held throughout the Theatre’s auditorium from Friday 4 December, with pantomime characters ‘popping up all over the place’ in a socially-distanced manner.
Bosses at the Concordia have compared the event to a ‘theme park attraction’ and have stressed to theatre-goers that this will not be a stage show.
During the timed intervals, those in social bubbles of up to six people will be able to have the opportunity to gather clues of what will happen when pantomime resumes at the Concordia.
Judy Peatfield, Theatre Publicity Officer at The Concordia Theatre, said: “We are all missing the magic of live performance, and we know you are too.
“However, Concordia is still here, waiting for the time when we can welcome you all back in the normal way.
“For the time being, this is our alternative which is being done for theatre fundraising. We hope you like it.”
