The newly-launched fragrance store will open their doors to the general public for the first time next weekend on the morning of Saturday 3 October 2020.

The new unit occupant will join the road’s existing row of shop occupants which include Hope Clothing, Headway charity shop, and Honey Buns.

Perfume Scentral are a family-run business, launched by ex- L’Oréal cosmetics employee and independent businessman, Tony Devereux, along with his son Ross Devereux who have been trading for the last fifteen years.

The new venture gives Ross and Tony a real opportunity to restart their business due to Covid -19 putting a halt to their trading position since March 18th.

At this moment in time, the fragrance store are selling and supplying bottles of fragrances and perfumes to customers through Facebook Messenger.

Owner of Perfume Scentral, Tony Devereux said: “Big sizes will be sold at better value than our local competitors.

“I hope that the shop works out. Our goal is just to survive by the end of the year. In this environment, there is nothing else other than survival.”

Big name brands like Paco Rabanne, Burberry, Tiffany & Co., Dior, and Hugo Boss will be on offer, and stay the same price all the time.

Tony further explained that because the fragrances are ‘so cheap’, they will not have to offer any discounts over seasonal holidays.

The fragrance shop secured their space on Station Road with Hinckley’s chartered surveyors, Wards.

Harry Wards, of Wards Surveyors, said: “The retail property market in Hinckley remains resilient in the face of the coronavirus pandemic, and Wards are continuing to agree lettings with excellent new occupiers for the town, such as Perfume Scentral.

“There continues to be strong interest in the town from a variety of other national and independent retailers and I am confident that there will be further lettings to new and exciting occupiers in the remainder of 2020 and early 2021.”
