The Elmesthorpe Brewery pub on Regent Street, owned by local publican Nirad Solanki, now offers a newly-revamped chicken menu which was first introduced back on 4 July.

In the past, before trading as both Niri Niri’s and The New Baron together, The New Baron of Hinckley had tried their hand at operating with the ‘Ordoo’ table service app before deciding on the decision to make their own instead.

Users will be able to place orders through the app to their table, which is suggested by the Government whilst eating out in restaurants and bars amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

The application is simply named “The New Baron of Hinckley Pub”, and users are able to download the app from both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

Nirad Solanki himself decided on the idea to create the mobile food-ordering app for the venue.

Speaking to the Hinckley Free Press, Nirad said: “The app is in its first phases, so there’s no doubt that there will some initial glitches.

“The mobile ordering app has mainly been designed so that we can alleviate traffic for queuing in addition to giving customers a better experience so that they can enjoy at the comfort of their seats.”
