Coffee Rio have announced through their official Facebook page that they will reopen their doors to town-goers on Tuesday 1 September at 10am.

The café was last open on 20 March, where they offered a takeaway service for hot drinks and cakes, although it didn’t last long as lockdown began just three days later on 23 March.

As a result of opening in September, the café missed a chance to partake in the Government-backed ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme, which offered customers 50 per cent off their food when they eat out in restaurants and cafes.

New eateries open

Hinckley has recently welcomed a new café and bar on Regent Street, Ru Siana’s Café and Bar, which opened officially last week.

Stottie Shop have launched a ‘sister store’ next door to their Rugby Road unit near Hinckley bus station named The Snack Shack, which are a hot food takeaway, who specialise in hand cut chips and burgers.
