HINCKLEY’s Britannia Shopping Centre are expected to see a brand new discount retailer, named MaxiSaver, open their doors this Saturday.
MaxiSaver bosses have explained that they are hoping to open their doors by Saturday 15 August.
The new discount store are launching their first ever location in Hinckley’s Britannia Shopping Centre, in the space that used to be home to Poundbase Plus before it closed back in early 2018.
MaxiSaver have snapped up two more retail spaces further out in England, with one new location coming to Stourbridge’s Ryemarket Shopping Centre, and the other located on High Street, in Erdington.
The newly-launched convenience store is owned and founded by managing store directors, Paul Mathers and James Johnston.
MaxiSaver will sell a wide range of items across several departments, ranging from household essentials and cleaning products, toiletries, food and drink, sweets, snacks, pet care products, and even seasonal stock.
Paul Mathers, Managing Director at MaxiSaver, exclusively spoke to The Hinckley Free Press regarding the new Hinckley store.
He said: “We are hoping to open our doors in Hinckley by Saturday 15th August, and we are very excited to part of Britannia Shopping Centre in Hinckley, which anchors a buzzing Castle Street.
“We are extremely looking forward to being part of the town.”
