Holovis made the move into their newly-purchased premises yesterday on Thursday 6 August, where the space has been transformed into their new purpose-designed company headquarters.

Over the past 12 months, the former Triumph Works Space has been given a newly-renovated look specially designed for the creative design group.

This features a 5,500sqft open plan collaboration space, a 6,500sqft dedicated demonstration facility and over 30,000sqft of build space for new projects, attraction mock-ups and full show run-throughs.

On arrival at the Holovis Headquarters, a ‘virtual concierge’ will greet visitors that are entering the building.

The ‘virtual concierge’ uses attribute recognition technology to correctly identify them, securely log them in and connect them with their Holovis host.

As well as their Hinckley headquarters, Holovis have two more locations in England over in Manchester and Mayfair in the West End of London.

Internationally, the company have locations in the Jing’an District of Shanghai in China, and Orlando, Florida, in the United States.

Back in 2018, the creative design company worked with the Alton Towers theme park over in Staffordshire on their ‘Wicker Man’ attraction, where they provided the ride with an ‘evolving soundscape’, a projection-mapped pre-show, and on-ride effects.

Upcoming American theme park, LEGOLAND New York in Goshen, New York, is another notable client who have enrolled the help of the creative team, where they are working in partnership together, with the park set to open next year in 2021.

Holovis are working with LEGOLAND New York on a new narrative-led experience through the park.

The creative group are providing the park with their very own proprietary technology named ‘HoloTrac’, which will see guests transformed into LEGO minifigures. This will resemble the guests and use motion tracking technology.

Stuart Hetherington, CEO at Holovis, commented on the new Hinckley headquarters. He said: “We are looking forward to inviting our clients, prospective customers, partners and suppliers to an opening launch event when the time is right.

“This has been a challenging year for all businesses, especially the entertainment and hospitality sectors we work in, but we are now seeing positive signs of recovery, with themed entertainment destinations reopening, global design and installation projects resuming and new contracts being signed.

“Innovation remains central to the company’s mission and we are excited to be on track to continue our strong growth trajectory well into 2021 working with our global clients to deliver truly world-class experiences.

“Our new Headquarters is known internally as ‘The Constellation’ and be will become the beating heart of Holovis, working with our international teams and offices, who will continue to play an essential part in our strategic growth.

“We chose this site in Hinckley for our new HQ for several reasons. The building gives us plenty of space to continue our growth, for both the office based side of things but also for our large project mock-ups and innovation development.

“This is especially useful in the current climate as we can ensure that all our operations are COVID safe.

“It is also near our former Demonstration Campus in Lutterworth and it still allows us to capitalise on the excellent transportation routes, around the UK and from international airports for our visiting clients.”

Their company mission is to ‘transform sensory experiences’ for their global clients in entertainment and enterprise.

Holovis have been identified as one of the London Stock Exchange Group’s ‘1000 companies to inspire Britain’.

Holovis have won AV Technology’s 2020 Company of the Year awards, where the announcement was made on Thursday 25 June 2020.
