HINCKLEY’s Regent Street will soon be home to a brand-new town centre eatery and bar, which is currently undergoing a refurbishment inside at this moment in time.
As we mentioned in a report at the start of the month back on Saturday 4, a new management team had taken over the space of the former French-style eatery ‘Petite Chouette’ on Regent Street in Hinckley town centre.
Yesterday on Monday 20 July, the new management team were spotted working on the Edward’s Corner-based eatery, where they were refurbishing the inside of the unit.
The Hinckley Free Press can reveal that the new name for the former Petite Chouette space is ‘Ru Siana Café Bar’, which will operate as a café and bar as the name suggests.
Ru Siana snapped up the space on 4 July, just 29 days since the former occupant, Petite Chouette, left Edward’s Corner.
A sign reading ‘Opening soon under new management’ appeared in the window the same day, which caught the eye of eagle-eyed town centre shoppers and Hinckley residents.
At this moment in time, it is unknown when the unit will open its doors publicly, but signage inside simply just reads ‘Open soon.’
As of the time of writing (21 July), the café currently have no online presence or social media yet, therefore a spokesperson was unable to talk to the Hinckley Free Press.
In addition to this, we will keep you updated as the story develops further.
