Avid book readers and library users in Hinckley now have the opportunity to use the click and select service.

Readers are able to request a selection of up to 10 handpicked items which they are then able to borrow for four weeks once they have picked them up.

On the Leicestershire County Council website, Hinckley Library members can fill out a form for their books using their ‘Self’ account.

Due to the library transport service being suspended at the moment, staff at the library are only able to pick books that are already on shelves.

A Library staff member will arrange a suitable time for members to pick up their books, with social distancing guidelines in place.

Once they arrive, members will be asked for their name and library number to help easily locate their orders.

Books can be easily returned by posting them through the return slot at the Hinckley Library.
