THE Atkins Building on Bond Street in Hinckley are very well known locally for hosting exhibitions at the building, ranging from artwork, to photography.
As a result of the ongoing pandemic and following the Government guidelines, Atkins closed their doors in March as a safety precaution and went into ‘lockdown’ with the rest of Hinckley.
Because the building is still closed during this time, the team at Atkins have decided to use their website to host a digital and virtual exhibition titled Arts in Mind.
Arts in Mind started running from 18 May and will continue to do so until the last day of viewing on 29 May.
The Arts in Mind exhibition was arranged for Mental Health Awareness week 2020 by Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council alongside their partners on the project, The Pathways Centre Art Group and the Art to Heart Group.
The virtual exhibition features a varied collection of artwork from local art groups where their members use their art skills and creativity to improve both their mental health and wellbeing.
We have attached the link to the Arts in Mind exhibition here and you only have the chance four more days to view the artwork before the virtual exhibition ends on 29 May.
