BEAUTY brand Superdrug are ready to make their return to the high-street next week.
The Superdrug branch in Hinckley had temporarily closed alongside other retailers in The Crescent back in March due to the ongoing pandemic.
The British health and beauty retailer have confirmed to the Hinckley Free Press that they shall reopen the doors to their Hinckley branch to customers, located in The Crescent shopping complex, next Monday on 25 May.
The store had originally advertised to customers with a store notice on their front doors that they would reopen on 31 May, however, the final and confirmed decision was made to change the reopening date to 25 May.
Changes to the front door signs have since been made to update and reflect the newly-confirmed reopening date.
In a statement to the Hinckley Free Press, Superdrug explained that they shall reopen with all necessary safety measures in place due to the current and ongoing pandemic.
A spokesperson for Superdrug said: “We are pleased to be re-opening our Hinckley branch on the 25th of May.
“We have introduced several measures in store with the safety of our customers and store colleagues in mind.
“These do include floor tape to help encourage social distancing, Perspex screens at till point and pharmacy counters, additional card only tills, hand sanitisers and intensive hand washing for colleagues.”
