Wave of store closures set to hit Nuneaton this month

NUNEATON will say goodbye to a few retailers this month.

Nuneaton town centre are set to be hit by the sudden wave of multiple closures throughout the month of February.

This news comes after the town suffered two major losses when they lost entertainment retailer HMV and video games retailer Game.

The main area of the town that will be affected by these unfortunate closures will be the Ropewalk Shopping Centre and surrounding area.

Independent womenswear store, Utopia Womenswear, located on Queens Road, set up shop between the years of 2017 and 2018 in the former Specsavers Opticians space.

It is not public knowledge when the last day of operation for the Nuneaton branch will be for Utopia, but posters in the windows confirm to customers the retailer will be closing their doors sooner than later, with a closing down sale.

Women’s accessory retailer, Accessorize, will close their doors on 28 February, the very same day that their sister company, Monsoon, will close their doors.
