FANNY BURNS, a Leicestershire-based drag queen, shall be hosting the first ever drag bingo event at The New Baron of Hinckley this Thursday on 6 January.
Fanny Burns will be hosting the first ever drag bingo night in The New Baron of Hinckley in Regent Street on Thursday.
There shall be free admission into the event. Playing all of the games on the night of the event will only set you back a small sum of £5.
All of the money from ticket sales goes back into the cash prizes, so that the more people that play, the bigger the cash prize.
“Fanny’s Bingo Balls” (also being referred to as “Burns’ Bingo Balls”) will be the first bingo event to ever take place in the venue, since the building was purpose-built 25 years ago for pub chain J.D. Wetherspoons, back when it was under their ownership.
Nirad Solanki, owner of The New Baron said: “The New Baron think ‘outside the box’, with drag acts, Fanny’s Bingo Balls and stand-up comedy. We want something different to just music.”
Fanny Burns commented on the event. She said: “We have had a lot of interest surrounding the event. If the Sunday event is anything to go by, then I think we are gonna have a busy night.”
“It all kicks off at 7.30pm but I would suggest getting there early if you want a good seat.”
“I’m hoping that Hinckley comes and supports the event and have a giggle along the way.
“Bingo is a little more chilled out than my cabaret show, it’s more relaxed.”
